The Concept

Cala, located in the suburbs of Sydney, aims to create a modern dining experience that celebrates its mid-century and Japanese-inspired architecture. Retaining original Frank Lloyd Wright wall lights, the lighting will not only enhance the visual appeal but also evoke the emotions and experiences associated with each area of the venue.

Lighting transitions throughout the venue: the cocktail bar features vibrant accents, while the central dining hub offers soft, cozy illumination. The lounge radiates warmth, and the external zone embraces bold, eclectic designs. This carefully curated lighting experience enhances Cala’s narrative, creating distinct atmospheres that invite guests to explore and enjoy a feast for the senses.
